Free Training for Filipino Citizens

Philippine Consulate General Medardo Macaraig announced that the Philippine Overseas Labor Office will be sponsoring free job-related training courses for Philippine citizens who live in the CNMI. The training starts in February and will be held at the Filipino Resource Center on the ground floor of the Marianas Business Plaza. Sessions are on a first come, first served basis, and applicants must bring their umbrella or work permit, passport and two identification pictures.

The following courses will be offered:

Basic computer operation 1 Jousel L. Regilme is the instructor and it will be held from Feb. 12 to April 2, 12 noon to 3 p.m.

Meat processing Hermie Coronejo, Ignacio Banadera Jr. and Marlon Regaton. Feb. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Feb. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

“Sari-Sari” (Convenience) Store Eli Arago and Melvin Malvar. March 5, 12, and 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

Aquaculture Ali Badilles, Banadera and Regaton. March 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and April 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Basic English Language Fe Calixterio. March 26 to April 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and April 30 to May 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Basic Nihongo Leopoldo Rodriquez Jr. Feb. 13 to April 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
