Deputy Police Commissioner Under House Arrest

March 16, 2013

Justice has been washing ashore on Saipan like a tsunami since Fitial resigned.

In the latest news the Deputy Commissioner of Police was fired and placed under house arrest upon his return to Saipan.  Ogumoro was reportedly off-island in Canada. His termination is effective on March 24, 2013.

Ogumoro, a member of Fitial's thug squad, coordinated efforts to shield former Attorney General Edward Buckingham from being served a penal summons and ensured his departure from Saipan. There is some irony in the fact that Ogumoro, who led the operation where the DPS thugs took over the Saipan International Airport to aide and abet Buckingham, was taken into custody at the same airport.

Governor Eloy Inos wrote to the Governor of Iowa to ask for his assistance in extraditing fugitive Buckingham who is reportedly living there with his wife. Buckingham's son Edward Buckingham IV is a physician in Iowa.

There is also a summons for former CNMI governor Benigno Fitial.

Ambrosio Ogumoro was a smug and arrogant wise guy at the House hearings on Fitial's impeachment. It should be interesting to see how smug this Fitialite is in court on Monday, March 18th.

"Justice has been washing ashore on Saipan like a tsunami since Fitial resigned."

I couldn't agree with that statement. The goal here by the new administration, more beholden to Willie than Ben ever was, is to continue the status quo minus the Carolinian mafia, but with the same goons (Angel, Blanco, Luhan, etc all) in power and Eloy follows the boss around like a puppy dog.

Fitial is in PI staying at the long stay condos next to St Luke's in Quezon City so don't expect him back and don't expect Tan's other puppet to sign an extradition demand either.
